She gained instant publicity from the media. Hurley's association with Estee Lauder is her most unforgettable professional encounter. Hurley was commissioned by Estee Lauder to be their first model in the age of 29. In 1995 she has been used as a face for Estee Lauder's cosmetics like Sensuous Intuition & Pleasures. Vanessa Kensington was her most popular role in Mike Myers hit spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) as well as Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me(1999).
